PRIVACY POLICY

Importance of Privacy
Privacy protection and lawful processing of personal data are crucial to StarJump. With this policy, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the processing of personal data in our operations.

Processing of Personal Data
StarJump primarily processes and stores the personal data of the following stakeholders: potential and existing customers, partners, service providers, and individuals (e.g., consumers, fitness enthusiasts).

In this policy, these stakeholders are referred to as representatives of these organizations and individuals. They will be later referred to as the data subject in this policy.

The purposes of processing personal data are primarily the following actions: marketing (e.g., marketing communication, correspondence), acquisition of stakeholders, partners, and new customers, their management, contract fulfillment, business development, and communication.

The legal bases for data processing are Article 6(1)(a) (data subject's consent) and Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract where the data subject is a party) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No one is obligated to provide their personal data to StarJump. However, in such cases, StarJump may not be able to, for example, enter into contracts with potential customers.

The information is not used for automated decision-making, and StarJump does not make decisions based on automated processing of the personal data it handles.

Recipients of Data
The recipients of the data include StarJump's staff and representatives. For the provision of services, information may also be provided to contract service providers and partners for collaboration. Contract service providers are usually companies assisting StarJump in service provision, and partners are typically various equipment suppliers.

Sources of Information and Stored Data
Personal data is obtained through StarJump's website or other digital services used by StarJump, the agreement between StarJump and the data subject, or information provided by the data subject through other means (e.g., email, phone).

Stored personal data may include, for example, the data subject's name, email address, phone number, the name of the represented organization, its contact details, and other personal information.

Storage and Disclosure of Data
The data in the register is stored on servers located in either European Union member states, the European Economic Area, or countries/regions approved by the European Union Commission for this purpose (decision on the adequacy of data protection).

Personal data is retained for the duration of a valid contract between StarJump and the represented organization or the data subject itself and three years after the termination of the contract. In other cases, personal data is retained for a maximum of three years from its provision.

Data is not regularly disclosed outside the recipient groups. Information is not disclosed for direct marketing or opinion or market research unless explicit consent from the data subject is obtained. However, personal data may be disclosed to authorities in accordance with legal rights.

Data Protection Rights
The data subject has the right to access, rectify, or erase their data and request the restriction of processing. The data subject can obtain a copy of the data collected by StarJump and correct any inaccuracies. In certain cases, data may only be deleted if new personal data is provided in its place or if the customer relationship is terminated.

StarJump's operations do not generate data that meets the conditions for transferring them to another data controller.

If the processing of personal data is based on consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw it at any time.

Anonymized data is not considered personal data, and data protection regulations do not apply to them.

Through this privacy policy, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the processing of personal data in our operations. If any part remains unclear, the data subject can seek clarification by contacting the data controller via email. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority regarding the processing of data.

The data controller's email is info@starjump.fi, and other contact details are available in the contact section of this website.
